I’m a diamond member and have bee for many years. I believed I could book a HGI without doing additional research, but this stay proved me wrong. First, the only greeting from the front desk was a request for pic id. No other words spoken. The lobby was old and worn with damaged furniture. My room had cheap damaged furniture. The hook on the bathroom door was hanging by on screw upside down. There was a general sense of uncleanliness. I left snd checked into the Courtyard across the street which was everything a HGI should be. It took 3 calls to the diamond desk to get $200 of my $250 back for this stay.

I’ve stayed here in the past, and it’s been fine. This time the room was disgusting and missing furniture. I knew something was off, but when I had the staff bring up an extra pillow, he acknowledged the room was missing two tables and a sitting chair. We paid for the suite, and we did that to have he living room setup. He brought us back a side table, but that’s all. There was also what seemed like blood on the throw pillows and carpet. Hair on the bathroom ceiling shows how poorly they clean the rooms.

I Checked in for the first time here in December and it has its pros and cons as do all stays so however I will say the Young Lady at the front desk by The name of Bre was very nice and very accommodating and honestly all hotels should have employees like her

Ok but dirty and old. I believe this hotel is being used as a resident for homeless or other subsided individuals. A school bus was picking up young children living here. I don’t like the concept of paying guests staying in a residential hotel. It’s not that I object to any individual getting housing assistance, it’s just that mingling paying transient guests with residents is not what I prefer. Will not stay again.

When we got to the 2nd Floor hallway, the carpet smells dirty and it looked unclean. The bathroom grouts were dirty and surrounding the level to let the water down into the drain had yellow stains. Around the toilet cover yellow urine stains. They mistakenly removed all of our belongings. They thought we were checked out. They checked out the wrong guests. The following day, the housekeeper opened our door without knocking or identified herself. She asked us when are we leaving. Mind you it was 11:00AM and check out time is 12PM. Horrible experience. I do not recommended this place.
